Terms and Conditions

This Agreement contains all the terms and conditions between an end user (the Client) of PsychologyCare online services and PsychologyCare. By clicking on the "I Agree" button an agreement will be executed between the end user (the Client) and PsychologyCare, which will be binding to both parties. By clicking on the I Agree button the user accepts the terms and conditions of this agreement. The end user will be asked to register, by which the end user registers as a client or client of PsychologyCare.

Client Declaration

By submitting the Client registration form, the end user (Client) warrants and declares:

  • that he/she is at least 18 years of age, or if under the age of 18, has parental approval, and
  • that the information supplied in the registration form is accurate and complete.

Client Consent

By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions the Client gives his/her consent to engage in treatment with PsychologyCare and its associated Psychologists. The Client agrees that his/her participation is voluntary and he/she may refuse to participate in all or some parts of the treatment, or terminate treatment at any point at his/her own discretion.

Terms of Use

1. PsychologyCare's service is for individuals and their personal use only. Any commercial use or resale of services is prohibited.

2. The client agrees not to copy materials on the site, not to reverse engineer or not to break into the site, and not to use the website materials, products or services for illegal purposes.

3. The Client agrees to use the site as per the instructions. The Client will not disclose his/her password to others for use.

4. The use of the site is at the discretion of PsychologyCare and any use by anyone may be terminated by PsychologyCare at any time.

5. The Client agrees not to keep PsychologyCare liable for damages of all kinds regarding the use of this site, errors on the site, viruses on the site or products, failure of the site to operate, third party links, and any purchase or service. The Client is responsible for implementing reasonable measures to prevent the loss of code or data.

6. Clients are not allowed to transmit or post any materials on this site that are libelous, obscene, infringing of a copyright or trademark, unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful or any material that could constitute a criminal offence or could give rise to civil liability.

7. The Client agrees to comply with all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations.

8. The client agrees to be bound by all Internet regulations, policies and procedures.

9. The client agrees not to use or create a false identity for the purpose of this service or to mislead PsychologyCare as to the Client's true identity in terms of his/her identity as the sender of a message, nor will the client impersonate any other person or entity in this service.

10. The client will not allow another person to have access to PsychologyCare services under his/her registration.

11. The Client agrees that if any information in his/her your registration changes, he/she will correct his/her registration immediately.

12. PsychologyCare reserves the right to review and change this agreement regarding the use of the Service at any time. Clients are responsible for regularly reviewing PsychologyCare Terms and Conditions. Continued use of the PsychologyCare's service after any such changes shall constitute consent to such changes.

Indemnification

This agreement requires that the user (Client) indemnify PsychologyCare for any claims resulting from such user's use. PsychologyCare and its employees cannot be held responsible for any third party claim, demand, or damage, including attorneys' fees, arising out of Client's use of its service.If PsychologyCare is sued due to a user's actions, PsychologyCare has the legal remedy to sue the user and require the user to pay for any costs that PsychologyCare is forced to pay from such a claim.

Privacy Policy

All personally identifiable information provided by you, the Client, is maintained in confidence by PsychologyCare. Personal information will not be shared with any third party, with the following exceptions:

  • To comply with a court order or by legal obligation. Courts of law have the power to demand the release of clients' records if clients are involved in a court case relevant to their relationship to PsychologyCare.
  • In order to give clients the best possible services, PsychologyCare psychologist may be supervised by other qualified psychologists. Supervision involves the psychologist releasing client personal information to the supervisor.
  • Psychologists are required by law to report any suspicion of risk of child abuse or neglect. If we believe that a child is at risk of being abused we must report the information to appropriate child protection authorities or police.
  • If we believe that a person's life may be in danger, we are obliged to report the situation to appropriate authorities. This applies to cases of potential suicide and homicide.

Security Measures

PsychologyCare is committed to protect the information you shared with us from any unauthorized access or disclosure. Any personal information provided to PsychologyCare is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the ethical codes of the Psychology profession and the Personal Information Protection Acts of New Zealand.

Information Collection

If you visit PsychologyCare website, certain information will be automatically collected and stored. These include the Internet Protocol Address and domain name. (The Internet Protocol Address is a numerical identifier assigned either to your Internet service provider or directly to your computer). This address can be translated to determine the domain name of your service provider, the type of browser and operating system, the date and time of the visit and the web pages or services accessed.

Information collected automatically is used for purposes of assessing system performance, improving web services and web site management. PsychologyCare will not use this data to determine your identity unless required by a court order or for any law enforcement purpose.

Links to other sites

Clients or visitors who link to any other site do so at their own risk. PsychologyCare will not be responsible or liable for any damages in connection with linking.
